Caution: This show may contain future stars! Andrew Marston introduces the best new music from our area, including:

• Worcester’s Jay Newman has gone from a World Cup residency in Qatar to Formula 1 at Silverstone. We meet the DJ bringing house music to the world stage.

• From a surprise Elton John concert at 12 years old to multiple performances at the Royal Albert Hall, Telford-born songwriter Louis Coupe has built a career on his own terms. This week he’s our Featured Artist, bringing honest stories, heartfelt songs and a love of the great songwriters who inspired him.

• In our Music News: 23,000 JCB employees got a surprise they won’t forget as Robbie Williams delivered a gig with plenty of traction in Staffordshire.

• After millions heard her voice on the John Lewis Christmas advert, Crewe's Mel Raeburn is writing the next chapter with her own songs and catches up with us in the studio.

• Highlights from WooFest near Upton upon Severn, where Ocean Colour Scene’s Andy Bennett and a host of incredible local musicians helped organisers move closer to their quarter of a million pound fundraising target for St Richard’s Hospice.

• In our Festival Guide: Turning the heat up with the Alsager Music Festival and the Trentham Summer Concerts.

• From vibrant performances to incredible food and family fun, we're at Worcester Mela as communities come together for a celebration of creativity, culture and connection.

• Born from a shared love of indie, disco and electronic music, K-Estate have created a sound that blends the attitude of Madchester with the energy of the dancefloor. Fronted by Kidsgrove’s Agatha Riley, we’re bringing you their HoneyBox Live set recorded at The Rigger in Newcastle, ahead of appearances at Kendal Calling and Lakefest in Herefordshire.
