The Crown Office has admitted in court that it was an 鈥榚rror of judgement鈥 not to prosecute the footballer David Goodwillie for rape back in 2011.
In 2017, a civil court found Goodwillie and his teammate David Robertson to be rapists and liars. The woman who accused them 鈥 Denise Clair 鈥 is now seeking a private prosecution in a criminal court.
Martin Geissler speaks to Sunday Post journalist Marion Scott about the case.
