Shetland鈥檚 islands could soon be connected by undersea tunnel after councillors backed the initial plans to replace ageing ferries and link Shetland鈥檚 mainland to Yell and Yell to Unst.
Martin Geissler speaks to Andy Sloan, executive vice president at engineering firm COWI, and the 麻豆社鈥檚 David Henderson about whether tunnels are a viable alternative to Scotland鈥檚 whole ferry network.
