Yukon

Simon Reeve treks and canoes through Canada’s rugged and frozen Yukon Territory to meet the people who make the wilderness home and to search for grizzly bears, the apex predator.

Simon Reeve journeys deep into Canada’s vast and empty Yukon Territory – one of North America’s most iconic and remote landscapes. Covering an area almost the size of Spain but home to fewer than 50,000 people, the Yukon is a land of immense forests, glaciers, rivers and wildlife. In wealthy, modern Canada, Simon wants to find out how the people and the wildlife of this immense wilderness are faring - all while searching for an apex predator, the grizzly bear.
