Mongolia

Simon Reeve embarks on a 3,000-mile journey across the deserts, plains and mountains of Mongolia in search of snow leopards and the nomadic people who hunt with golden eagles.

Simon Reeve travels across Mongolia – the most sparsely populated country on Earth and home to some of the most brutal and beautiful landscapes on the planet. Six times the size of the UK but with fewer than 3.5 million people, Simon wants to find out how nomadic traditions, such as hunting with golden eagles, and wild nature still shape everyday life, all while searching for the elusive snow leopard.
