Verity Sharp shares a spellbinding mix from prolific British techno producer Ibrahim Alfa Jnr., fresh from the release of his new album Infinite Black Inside, a piece of work that showcases the vastness of his musical influences, from soul to jazz, from dub to minimalism.
Born in Brighton, Ibrahim started making music in the late 鈥�90s, releasing his first techno record at the age of eighteen. Since then, he has never stopped producing music, including during a recent period of forced isolation while recovering from a pulmonary embolism and two heart attacks. His new album brings together some of the over 500 tracks recorded during that time.
Elsewhere in the show, a new single from the forthcoming album of Vanishing Twin, plus hypnotising improvisations from saxophonist Tamar Osborn.
