This documentary film heads inside the deepest shaft ever discovered in Britain - Titan. Will a comprehensive 3D scan reveal the shaft’s true size for the first time and help explain how it formed millions of years ago? Or will its vast size prove to be too much of a challenge for the scanning team?

The importance of caves throughout British history is investigated; the discovery of the earliest human skeleton in Britain in Cheddar; the 17th-century Witches’ Marks at Creswell Crags; modern-day cave dwellers at Kinver Edge; and the very first cave divers at Wookey Hole.
