90-year-old tortoise amputee: 100 times better on wheels
The owner of a 90-year-old tortoise amputee, says she "seems a 100 times better" after he attached a small set of wheels to her shell.
The pet, known as Mrs T, was left in 鈥渜uite a state鈥 when a rat got into her hutch and chewed through her front legs.
Owner Dale Sinclair-Jones fixed a set of wheels which allow her to 鈥済o backwards, forwards and turn around".
鈥淪he鈥檚 eating, she鈥檚 getting around, she鈥檚 still regularly in contact with the vet but she seems to be doing very, very well,鈥 he added.
