The Acholi Machon (Old Acholi) duo from South Sudan play the likembe, an acoustic thumb piano.

They say their music is inspired by a long line of musicians and a love for their land.

Ahead of their performance at the Womad music festival in the UK, the 麻豆社鈥檚 Sophie Ikenye welcomed them at Focus on Africa鈥檚 studios in London.

They played their song Acholi Kabedobe (Acholi Land Is A Good Place) from their 2014 album Lapwong (Freedom Fighters).
