Malaria vaccine gets 'green light'

The world's first malaria vaccine has cleared one of the final hurdles prior to being approved for use in Africa. The European Medicines Agency gave the jab a positive scientific assessment after looking at its safety and effectiveness. This is despite the vaccine being just 46% effective in toddlers and not working on very young babies. The 麻豆社's Medical Correspondent Fergus Walsh explains.
