Hassan Khan is a blind tennis fan, and he can enjoy the sport without any commentary thanks to three things 鈥 鈥渢he squeak of a player鈥檚 boot, how the ball hits the racquet and the player鈥檚 grunting鈥.

His attention to those details mean he sometimes knows what has happened before the players know themselves. 鈥淚鈥檝e called it out before he鈥檚 shouted, because I can tell he鈥檚 overcooked it,鈥 he says.

Blind since the age of three, Hassan has never seen a backhand. He says he doesn鈥檛 like to ask questions as he doesn鈥檛 want to spoil the enjoyment of others around him.
