Beasts of No Nation premiered in London
Beasts of No Nation, a film about civil war in an unnamed West African country, had just had its UK premiere at the London Film Festival.
The movie, written and directed by Cary Fukunaga, is based on a novel by Nigerian-American writer Uzodinma Iweala and takes its title from an album by Fela Kuti.
It features British actor Idris Elba in the role of a warlord who trains an orphan as a child soldier, played by a 14-year-old first-time actor from Ghana, Abraham Attah.
