The hummus that connects Arabs and Jews
Hummus is a Mediterranean food popular throughout the Middle East. Kobi Tzafrir is the owner of a small hummus restaurant in the Israeli town of Kfar Vitkin. He's been offering a 50 per cent discount to tables mixing Arab and Jewish customers. He told Newsday the offer was his way of showing ' a better side of Israel '.
