Donald Trump calls for ban on Muslims entering America; Ethiopia drought; plus more news.
US presidential contender Donald Trump is facing a barrage of criticism after calling for all Muslims to be prevented from entering America.
Ethiopia's government has told Focus on Africa that it is counting on the support of its partners to help deal with more than 10 million people who will need food assistance because of the current severe drought.
The former president of the Central African Republic, Francois Bozize, has been excluded from running in presidential polls later this month. The constitutional court rejected 15 candidates, including the exiled Mr Bozize, who's the subject of UN sanctions.
