George Mpanga, known by his stage name George the Poet, is a British spoken word artist of Ugandan descent.

He has recently turned his sharp verse to the upcoming elections in Uganda.

He told Â鶹Éç Africa’s Patience Atuhaire in the capital, Kampala, why he decided to write about the political life in his parents’ country.
