The day after a flyover collapsed in India
Hundreds of rescue workers, led by soldiers, engineers and medics, have worked through the night in the Indian city of Kolkata (Calcutta) after a flyover collapsed, killing more than 20 people and injuring nearly a hundred more.
A 100-metre long stretch of the road collapsed - killing not just motorists but also people underneath: the road was in a densely populated neighbourhood, with narrow lanes, shops and houses below. The 麻豆社's Rahul Tandon updated us from the scene.
