"In 2020...I'll be an ex-president" - Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir
The President of Sudan, Omar al-Bashir, has told the 麻豆社 he will step down after thirty one years in power, when his current mandate ends in 2020. Sceptics point out that he's said so in the past, only to go back on his word later. Omar al-Bashir has been indicted by the International Criminal Court on charges of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity. He's denied all charges.
