Malawi wants Church to protect people with albinism
People with albinism - a lack of skin pigmentation - are the victims of attacks in many African countries, normally in connection with beliefs centred on traditional medicine. In Malawi alone, since early last year, the police have recorded 75 such attacks, including abductions, mutilations and murders. The Malawian President, Peter Mutharika, telkls Sophie Ikenye the Church should do more to protect people with albinism.
