Liberian writer chronicles life before & during Ebola crisis
Liberian writer Hawa Jande Golokai's essay, "Fugee", tells the story of a contemporary Liberian nomad moving through the continent until she finds herself at home during the height of the Ebola crisis. But it is not just a story about Ebola, told in the form of diary entries. It is also a deeply personal exploration of Hawa's life told with a good dose of humour and honesty.
