African Union passport launch
Holders of an African passport require visas to visit at least 30 countries on the continent. The African Union is seeking to change this with the launch of a pan-African e-passport.
African heads of state and top AU officials will be the first to receive the travel document. The AU Deputy Chairman Erastus Mwencha tells 麻豆社 Africa's Emmanuel Igunza that the plan is to issue the passport to all eligible Africans in the next three years.
