Nigeria's food revolution: What do farmers want?
The Nigerian government is launching a new campaign to boost food production for domestic consumption and for export. The "Green Alternative" aims to cut the multi-billion food import bill by increasing self-sufficiency whilst at the same time driving quality food exports.
So what would farmers like to see the government do to make the sector more viable?
Chris Ewokor visited a farm in Jere in Kaduna state to find out.
