The Police need to concentrate more resources into dealing with stalking - that's according to leading Stalking Charities, who have told 5live Breakfast that something is going wrong with the way the criminal justice system deals with the issue.

Chloe Hopkins has been a victim of stalking: 鈥淎t first I didn鈥檛 think anything of it, when you are you g and na茂ve you don鈥檛 think 鈥榯his isn鈥檛 right.鈥� When it became a regular thing, I thought 鈥� this is a bit weird.鈥�

A spokesperson for the Crown Prosecution Service said: "We are committed to tackling stalking and harassment cases and in 2015 there were 12,986 prosecutions - a rise of 7 per cent on the previous year.鈥�

Chloe encountered strange behaviour from the man stalking her: 鈥淗e came over, lifted up his T-shirt and there was a tattoo with my name on it. What do you say to someone that does that?鈥�
