The Police need to concentrate more resources into dealing with stalking - that's according to leading Stalking Charities, who have told 5live Breakfast that something is going wrong with the way the criminal justice system deals with the issue. Chloe Hopkins has been a victim of stalking: “At first I didn’t think anything of it, when you are you g and naïve you don’t think ‘this isn’t right.’ When it became a regular thing, I thought – this is a bit weird.” A spokesperson for the Crown Prosecution Service said: "We are committed to tackling stalking and harassment cases and in 2015 there were 12,986 prosecutions - a rise of 7 per cent on the previous year.” Chloe encountered strange behaviour from the man stalking her: “He came over, lifted up his T-shirt and there was a tattoo with my name on it. What do you say to someone that does that?” This clip is originally from 5 live Breakfast on Thursday 15 September 2016.
