US bombings 'could be trial for bigger attack'
The bomb attacks in New York and New Jersey could be a trial for a bigger terror event according to a former government defence advisor.
Michael Barbero is a retired Lieutenant General, he spent 4 years in Iraq and his most recent job was leading the Department of Defence's response to IED (improvised explosive device) attacks.
He told 麻豆社 Radio 4's the World at One that these attempts felt like an experiment rather than a fully fledged assault.
