Farmer Tom Benton from South Essex has told 5 live Drive how he is constantly battling the problem of illegal tipping.

鈥淚t seems to be a weekly problem,鈥� he said.

In one instance, 120 tonnes of rubbish was dumped on Tom鈥檚 land.

鈥淭he gate was shut but they just flattened it and drove onto the field.鈥�

There has been an increase in reported illegal dumping cases in recent years. Last year there were 900,000 cases in England which cost councils 拢50m to clear up.
