Kenya deradicalisation tactics backfire
Kenya has seen a surge in violence on home soil since its incursion into neighbouring Somalia. The government has tried everything from brute force to amnesty programmes to deal with the problem.
However, some say this heavy-handedness is pushing many young people into the hands of extremist groups, a claim that the government vehemently denies.
