A Man of Good Hope: A music play showing a refugee journey
What challenges can a refugee face on a journey from Somalia to South Africa? Focus on Africa's Kim Chakanetsa has been speaking to the people behind the music play, A Man of Good Hope, which explores the refugee crisis in Africa. The play is produced by South African company Isango Ensemble, its co-founder Pauline Malefane, and Mandisi Dyantyis, one of the actors explain how they brought Jonny Steinberg's pages to life on stage at London's Young Vic theatre.
