Gambian goalkeeper dies crossing the Mediterranean
Nineteen-year-old Gambian goalkeeper, Fatim Jawara, has died attempting to cross the Mediterranean.
She played with Banjul-based the Red Scorpions and is believed to have left The Gambia two months ago, crossing the Sahara to reach Libya.
Fatim then tried to travel to Europe by boat but the vessel ran into trouble at sea.
The 麻豆社's Akwasi Sarpong speaks to Red Scorpions manager, Chorro Mbega, about Fatim's life and career.
