'Hive-rustling' thieves steal 24 thousand bees
More than 24 thousand bees worth around £2000 have been stolen from hives on a private estate in Yorkshire.
Amanda Clayton, the owner and beekeeper of the hives on the Hooton Pagnell Farm Estate told 5 live: “[We are] just devastated that we had done all that hard work and spent quite a bit of money and someone has taken them away.â€
“It would have to be some who knows what they are doing and they would need beekeeping equipment.â€
