Making health insurance affordable in Tanzania
In many places, health insurance is expensive, so millions of people are left vulnerable when sickness or accidents strike. But a young Tanzanian entrepreneur, Lillian Makoi, is experimenting with an idea she hopes can change the situation. She is the brain behind Jamii- a mobile technology health insurance scheme for low-income communities. But can it work? The 麻豆社'S Sammy Awami has been finding out.
