Increasing numbers of West Africans crossing the Mediterranean
Nigerians are now the top nationality rescued after attempting to cross the Mediterranean sea. Ewa Moncure explains this and other ways that the character of the crossing is changing. She's the spokesperson for FRONTEX, the European border and coast guard agency.
