Sarah Jenkins: Three Miniatures of Ynys Lawd
Sarah was born in Oxford and has recently completed her first year at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, studying clarinet. She was highly commended in the Âé¶¹Éç Proms Inspire Competition 2016 and is currently an Inspire Ambassador.
In 2017, Sarah was selected from hundreds of entrants as one of the winners in the Senior category of the annual Âé¶¹Éç Proms Inspire Competition. Her winning piece, Three Miniatures of Ynys Lawd, was performed by Aurora Orchestra, conducted by Nicholas Collon, at a Proms Extra event at the Âé¶¹Éç’s Radio Theatre on 14 August 2017.
