Why are cancer deaths in Africa on the rise?
The World Health Organisation says Cancer is becoming a major killer in Africa, accounting for nearly half a million deaths a year - a death rate set to double by 2030. But does the disease get the public health priority it deserves? Fred Okuku, a Ugandan Oncologist from the Cancer Institute at Mulago Hospital, Kampala, tells the 麻豆社's Kim Chakanetsa about the types of cases he sees.
