What happens when The Thames freezes over?
It hasn鈥檛 happened since the winter of 1813-14 but before that it wasn鈥檛 an uncommon occurrence. Dr Eleanor Rosamund Barraclough transports us back to a world of frost fairs and unusual animal sightings.
