What does an 18th century glass armonica sound like?
If you ever go to Williamsburg, in the US state of Virginia, you might feel like you've stepped back into the 18th century. Well that would be entirely intentional - the city's historical district is designed to look that way. And it sounds that way too. As you wander around, you might hear the music of a glass instrument, invented by a Founding Father no less, that you play with wet fingers like you might with the rim of a wine glass... Here's what it sounds like...
