Niger arrests 23 as people continue to protest
The police cracked down came on what were seen as peaceful demonstrations against the 2018 budget including tax increases. Over the past few months, these measures have incited multiple protests by civil society and a coalition of opposition parties. The 麻豆社's Bola Mosuro spoke to Mamane Nouredine Moussa a young opposition politician in Niger about the current situation.
