Afro-Brazilians react to their new president
Jair Bolsonaro's victory in Brazil's presidential election last Sunday has elicited mixed reactions from Brazilians of African heritage, as many of his comments have been described as homophobic, misogynist and racist. Representing more than half of the country's population, Afro Brazilians have played a key role in the outcome of the elections. Some of them shared their views with the 麻豆社.
