Italian police have opened a murder investigation after a toddler bled to death following a home circumcision. The child was reportedly born in Italy to a Nigerian woman believed to have claimed asylum in Italy. The boy's twin brother also underwent the operation and had also been admitted to a pediatric intensive care unit. Dr Foad Aodi highlights the dangers of clandestine circumcisions
