Botswana leaders’ souring relationship
Former President of Botswana Ian Khama recently announced he was leaving the BDP party he led while he was president, signalling that the relationship between him and his successor President Mokgweetsi Masisi has soured. In this interview with the Âé¶¹Éç's Veronique Edwards, Mr Khama talks of how his views on the current president have changed, from referring to him as a "brother and friend" to a leader "drunk on power".
