Sampa The Great: A journey from poetry to hip-hop
Sampa Tembo was born in Zambia, raised in Botswana and later moved to Australia to study sound engineering, where her love for music developed. Sampa The Great, as she's also known, is a hip hop artist making a name for herself on the Australian music scene with her debut album 'Birds and the BEE9'. She's just been on her first African tour performing in Swaziland, Zambia & South Africa where the 麻豆社's Taurai Maduna caught up with her.
