Nigerian ailing Shia leader leaves India without medical treatment
Within days of his leaving for urgent medical treatment in India, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky has returned without taking treatment. The ailing leader of the banned Shia Muslim group - the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) has been in detention since 2015, and his supporters say he has numerous health issues that require urgent medical attention. Security forces have often cracked down violently on protests by his supporters - but still they refuse to be silenced.
