Reni K Amayo: 'Your knowledge of history shapes your perspective'
Reni K Amayo's book is set in Nigeria, where she's originally from but it's not as we know it. Instead in her debut novel, 'Daughters of Nri' she weaves a story set around a set of twins, separated at birth whose lives come back together and whose survival is key to the survival of their kingdom. Reni's novel is the first in a planned series and is aimed at the Young Adult audience. She's been talking to Focus on Africa's Hannah Ajala and started by reading from the novel.
