Vanessa Tsehaye: the woman campaigning for imprisoned Eritreans
The Eritrean government must release eleven politicians and seventeen journalists who were arrested in 2001 after criticising President Isaias Afwerki's rule: it's what Amnesty International si asking in their latest social media campaign. Vanessa Tsehaye is the niece of Seyoum Tsehaye, one of the journalists who was detained eighteen years ago never to be seen again. The event inspired her to become a human rights activist and to take a stand for her uncle and other political detainees.
