A Somali-Canadian on her drive to help Somalia despite risks
Dr Hodan Ali is Senior Adviser of the Durable Solution Unit in the Somali capital, Mogadishu. After living most of her life in Canada, she moved back to the city in 2016. She told Focus on Africa's Audrey Brown that despite the safety and security risks, she felt her skills and expertise could contribute to the redevelopment of the country.
