Donors pledge $1.8 billion to Sudan
Sudan has announced that donors have pledged $1.8 billion towards the country鈥檚 economic revival.The funds were made during a virtual conference yesterday. It was the struggling economy as well as political repression that led to the revolution before the fall of President Bashir. So will this money go towards alleviating the economic suffering of the people? Audrey Brown has been speaking to Sudan's Finance Minister Ibrahim Elbadawi.
