Covid-19: Malawi president urges prayer and fasting
Malawi's new President Lazarus Chakwera has called on citizens to join him for three days of prayer and fasting to help contain the spread and impact of coronavirus. Malawi has registered just under 2500 cases and 40 deaths. There was no lockdown in Malawi at the beginning of the pandemic as a court ruled against the previous government's plans for one, saying it hadn't made adequate provision for people who would suffer from the impact of a strict lockdown. Audrey Brown has been talking to journalist Peter Jegwa in Lilongwe.
