Raila Odinga remembers Tanzania's President Mkapa
Tanzanians are mourning the death of Benjamin William Mkapa, the man who led them for ten years between 1995 and 2005. Mr Mkapa played a key role in supporting current Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni who went on to topple Idi Amin in 1979. He was also crucial in peace talks in Kenya following the post-electoral violence of 2007/08. Former Kenyan prime minister Raila Odinga who was part of that dispute, shared his thoughts on the passing of the former president with Audrey Brown.
