Africa's Olympic stories: Francoise Mbango
Francoise Mbango became the first Cameroonian to win an Athletics gold medal when she won the Women's Triple-Jump in Athens in 2004. She went on to retain her title in Beijing after having a baby, and she was only the second woman in the Olympics history to do that. Her winning jump in Beijing set a new Olympic record which still stands to this day. She told 麻豆社 Sport Africa's Nishat Ladha what drove her to become a champion.
