Zimbabwe protests: several opposition supporters arrested
Several opposition supporters have been arrested in Zimbabwe for attempting to take part in anti-government protests, according to the opposition Movement for Democratic Change. Today, the country was largely shut down as they called for demonstrations against corruption and economic hardships. The police had warned that street demonstrations are illegal under covid-19 restictions. Audrey Brown has been talking to the 麻豆社s Shingai Nyoka in Harare.
