South Sudan: Unrest in Equatoria states
In South Sudan, a peace deal signed earlier this year brought hope to many that years of conflict were a thing of the past.聽But for thousands in Central, East, and West Equatoria states, that hasn't materialised. For the past few months fighting has resumed between a rebel group known as the National Salvation Front and government forces. Paul Benjamin Yugusuk is the archbishop of Central Equatoria and he's been traveling widely in the region to assess the situation. He told Focus on Africa's Esau Williams about the impact of the conflict on local communities.
